Douglas J. Aikin of Circle Ct., Arcade died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his residence at the age of 39. He was born May 23, 1977 in Buffalo, NY a son of Michelle (nee Adrian) Weller of Arcade and Norbert Aikin Jr. of Buffalo. He loved Nascar and going to the races. He enjoyed camping and four wheeling and hanging with his friends. Doug was always there for others when they needed help and would give the shirt of his back to anyone. He was known to many as "Uncle Doug" and certainly left his fingerprint on many lives. He was a machinist for Koike-Aronson in Arcade. He is survived by his parents; his brother - Norbert Aikin, III of Cortland and many friends who considered him as family. Friends may call Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
