Rosemarie Lucarelli, of New York, NY, passed away on Sunday after a short illness. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 25, 1932. She was raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.and became a school teacher in the New York City Public Schools. She retired after becoming a principal at a public elementary school in New York City. She enjoyed going to Broadway shows in New York City and spending time with her friends. Family was very important to her as she cared for her mother and father in their later years. She also was very close with her large Italian family including her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her brother Ernest Lucarelli of Orange, CT, his wife Victoria, and her nieces and nephews in Michigan, Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is predeceased by her beloved parents Frank and Clara Lucarelli of Brooklyn, NY and her brother Michael Lucarelli of Michigan.
