Frances M. Gervasio, 72, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her home in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Gervasio was a residential unit supervisor at Wassaic Developmental Center for 18 years. Born on October 15, 1943 in Plattsburgh, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Flora (Rabideau) Columbe. On December 21, 1986 in Dover Plains, NY she married Ralph Gervasio who predeceased her on December 11, 2010. Mrs. Gervasio was a member of the Greater Grace Community Church in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Gervasio is survived by her two sons, William Tallman of Dover Plains, NY and Brian Tallman of Pine Plains, NY; a daughter, Sheri Coggins of Dover Plains, NY; two brothers, Clyde Columbe and Alan Columbe of Massachusetts and a sister, Carol Lovette of Arkansas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Heidi, Satinda, Nikita and Ethan Tallman and Christian Coggins and two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Haley Tallman. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Gervasio was predeceased by a son, Norman J. Tallman, Jr.; a daughter, Leslie Tallman; a brother, John Columbe and a sister, Barbara Breyette. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Dover Plains, NY.
