Hudson Falls Ezekiel Jerome “Jay” Hunt, 53, of East LaClaire St. passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 6, 2016 at the Glens Falls Hospital with his love, Christine by his side. Born on February 12,1963 in Freeport Long Island, NY he was the son of, Rosa (Ray) Hunt and the late, Ezekiel Hunt. Jay was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Glens Falls, where he proudly served as an usher. Jay was a very proud business owner of EZ Jay’s Landscaping where he worked tirelessly day and night to serve his customers. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Queensbury, No. 121, F& A.M. and was proud to follow in his father’s footsteps. Most importantly his greatest joy was his granddaughter, Aryana who she named “Poppy”. She could do no wrong in his eyes. In addition to his father, Jay is predeceased by his cousin, Moses Hunt; his father and mother in law, Merwyn and Linda Cuthbert; as well as several grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jay is survived by his beloved fiancée, Christine Cuthbert, of Hudson Falls, who he affectionately referred to as his “Betty Boop”; his mother, Rosa (Ray) Hunt, of Hempstead, NY; his son, Jerome Hunt, of Albany, NY; his brothers, Steven Hunt, of Hempstead, NY and Kenneth Hunt, of East Rockaway, NY; his sister, Felicia Hunt, of Freeport, NY; his stepdaughters, Cassandra Keech and Courtney Keech, both of Hudson Falls; his pride and joy, granddaughter, Aryana Woods; as well as several sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends from here to Long Island. Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I’ll remember you all, if you can only remember me with tears then don’t remember me at all.
