Richard Boucher Obituary

Fort Edward Richard E. Boucher, 58, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Born August 15, 1958 he was the son of Joann (Murphy) and the late Emerson Boucher. He graduated from Mechanicville High School class of 1976 where he was a great swimmer and held diving records. In 1980 Rick married the love of his life Margaret Hubinsky at St. Joseph’s Church. Rick owned and operated Fire Control Systems Inc. for 26 years. He also worked for AllTek in Waterford as the vice president in the FireTek division. He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Fort Edward. Rick enjoyed sailing on Bermuda Breeze and Bermuda Breeze 2, he was the handyman around the house, took pride in his company and was the family comedian. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Margaret Boucher; daughters, Desiree Boucher and her fiancé Dan Bombard, Katie Boucher and her boyfriend Javier Martinez; sister, Barbara Ponzillo and her husband Anthony; brothers, Mark Boucher and his wife Jackie, Thomas Boucher and his wife Mary; beloved dog, Jessie; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call from 4-7p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
