Shirley Moore

Fort Edward Shirley Elizabeth Moore, 87, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Fort Hudson Nursing Home. Born May 6, 1929 in Fort Edward she was the daughter of the late Octave and Helen (Fitzgerald) Trackey. She attended Fort Edward High School. On September 12, 1946 Shirley married David M. Moore at St. Joseph’s Church in Fort Edward. He passed away January 2004. Shirley retired from Scott Paper Company after 25 years of service. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Viele, Evelyn Dragon, Jeanette Barrett and her brothers; Edward Joseph Trackey and John Trackey. Left to cherish Shirley’s memory include her daughter, Davine Moore Perry and her husband Robert of Fort Edward; sons, Peter Moore and his wife Melissa of Fort Edward and Paul Moore and companion Sandy Beauliea of Hudson Falls; sisters Helen Havens, Frances Osgood, and sister-in-law Hazel Trackey, all of Fort Edward; grandchildren, Robert Perry Jr., Matthew Perry, Fr. Steven Moore, Scott Moore, Sean Moore and Jessica Moore Bonitatibus; along with a number of great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at M.B. Kilmer Funeral 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Church 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828. Rite of committal will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Fort Edward. The family would like to thank the staff of Fort Hudson Nursing Home for their many years of comfort and care they provided for Shirley during her many years of residence.
