Susan Moore
Susan J. Moore, age 90, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home in Fort Edward. Susan was the daughter of the late Herbert Hoag and Airetta Ellsworth. She was predeceased by husband, Hyland Moore; her siblings: June Blackmer and her husband Roy, Robert Hoag and his wife Virginia, and, Shirley Cook and her husband, Albert; and her brother-in-law, Walter Dow. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Marion Dow and Nancy Wilson-Craig, and Nancy’s husband, Garry Craig, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Susan worked throughout her adult live and most recently retired from the Mallinckrodt Corporation in Argyle in 1991. She was also a long-time member of the Moreau Community Center. At Susan’s request, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in Susan’s name may be made to the Moreau Emergency Squad, 1583 State Route 9, Fort Edward, NY 12828.
