Joseph P." Joe Bear " Brennan GENEVA- Joseph P. Brennan, age 55 of Geneva passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. There will be no prior calling hours. Private funeral services will be held at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. Joe was born on March 16, 1961 in Geneva the son of the late Dr. Thomas H. and Elizabeth Bastow Brennan. He graduated from DeSales High School and worked for several area company’s before owning and operating J.B. Paper Company. Joe was a member of St. Stephen’s Church and loved his music and the Detroit Tigers. He is survived by his wife Diana; his daughter, Kayleigh Brennan of Denver, CO; brothers, Michael Brennan of Geneva and David Brennan of Geneva; sisters, Joanne (Joseph) Scherra of Geneva, Maura (Frank) Cook of Kenosha, WI and Kathleen “Punky” (Robert) Toner of Geneva. Joe was predeceased by his parents, a brother Thomas J. Brennan and a sister Bettina Hennigan.
