Ellen B. Jehu
<p>Ellen B. Jehu 73, of McLean, NY died Feb. 21, 2017 at Cayuga Medical Center after a short illness. </p><p><br></p><p>Born April 3, 1943 in Binghamton NY, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Lillian Van Patton Tyler. </p><p><br></p><p>Ellen had made her family her passion and she will be dearly missed. Ellen had enjoyed cooking and gardening where she often canned many of her results from her garden and her hands were never still with her constant sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed the many hikes with her husband in their younger days and love to watch the birds. </p><p><br></p><p> She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Evan R. Jehu at home and son, Jon D. Jehu of McLean and grandsons, Jon M. and Gareth all of McLean. She is also survived by her brother, Merrit Tyler of Lyle, NY and two nieces, Denise Small and Debbie Peters. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Jane Hoover. </p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held on Sat.
