Donna Faye Hughes Jacobs, 57, of Marion, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. Mrs. Jacobs was born July 29, 1959 in Buncombe County to the late Jesse and Pauline Pressley Hughes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Whitson. Donna is survived by her husband, Roger Jacobs; children, Arthur Snelson (Deanna), Billy Dalton (Amanda), Betty Smith (Rob), and David Earl Dalton (Rachelle); brothers, Terry and Mike Hughes; and 22 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Victory Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
