James Bartlett

James Kenneth Bartlett “Buster”, 74, of Black Mountain, passed away January 5, 2017. Buster was born January 5, 1943 in Black Mountain to the late Joe and Virginia Bartlett. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. Buster was a member of East Black Mountain Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Bartlett, Charles Bartlett, Ellen Foxx, and Shirley Chandler. Buster is survived by his wife, Sandy Bartlett, children, Kenneth Bartlett, and Debbie Rollins (Chris); step children, Amy, Becky, Kimmy, David, Jill and Jody; brother, Bill Bartlett; grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Rollins; 16 step grandchildren; and 7 step great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 2:30 pm at East Black Mountain Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Sprinkle and Rev. Robert Haynie officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 pm on Sunday prior to the service.
