Marie Allison Voelker, 86, of Black Mountain, passed away October 7, 2016. Mrs. Voelker was born March 5, 1930 in Akron, Ohio. She has been a resident of Black Mountain for the past 24 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Voelker; parents, William and Esther Allison; and sister, Isabelle Allison Corvington. Marie is survived by children, Patrice Mangan (Don), Michelle Nevling (Bob), Nancy Pope (Tom), Mary Lou Scotese (Brian), and Mark Voelker; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and brother, James Allison.
