William “Bill” C. Jackson, 77, of Black Mountain, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016. Bill loved his wife, both families, God and his Labradors. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Etherlene Jackson; and an infant sister. Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia Dutcher Jackson; children, Randy Jackson (Lisa), Patrick Jackson (Cathy), Donna Hale (Patrick), and Cindy Ledford; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. His Journey’s Just Begun: Don’t think of him as gone away – his journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets – this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that he could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he loved…for nothing loved is ever lost – and he was loved so much.
