Howard Riddick

Sapphire – John Howard Riddick, Jr., 48, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2016. A native of Tampa, FL, he was the son of John Howard Riddick, Sr. and Hilda Rogers Riddick. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn O’Hara, and his grandparents, Norman and Clara Riddick, and John Elza and Willie May Rogers. Howard was a member of the FFA for three years. He had an A. A. in music from Hillsborough Jr. College in Tampa, and he attended Brevard College, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Fruitland Bible Institute. He was a Deacon in a local church and was active in missionary work. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Jennifer Riddick; children, Arizona, Vincent, Terrell and Nevaeh; sisters; April Riddick, and Melanie Reed and husband Ken; brother, Jason Riddick and wife Jamie; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December18, 2016 at 2 PM at Brevard Community Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife Jennifer. On line condolences may be left at www.moodyconnollyfuneralhome.com. Moody-Connolly Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
