Pastor Ann Miller Farrell, 87, of Franklin, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. Born in Bedford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Freida Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers and a step-grandson, Nicholas Covello. Ann was an ordained minister; president of the Gem Country Republican Women’s Club and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She loved to cook and bake and was previously in charge of the kitchen at the Christian Training Center. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Burket Ray Farrell; two children, Harry “Butch” Imler of Spotsylvania, PA and Hedy Shaffer of Shellsburg, PA; four stepchildren, Sandra Lavely of Orange City, FL, Donna Covello of Denver, CO, Steven Farrell of Cresson, PA and Kelly Boyer of Denver, CO; brother, Statler Miller of Bedford, PA; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, at the Christian Training Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to T.C.T.M (The Compassionate Touch Ministries), 117 Holland Ayers Road Franklin, NC 28734. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
