Charlotte – Muriel Mae Wisner Delmore, 95, passed away November 16, 2016 at home. She was born on July28, 1921 in Carthage NY to the late Carl and Mildred Leila Covey Wisner. She was the third child of nine and was predeceased by her Husband William G. Delmore Sr.; siblings Benjamin W., Genevieve Wisner Bingle, Alice Wisner Eyre, Oliver J., Elaine Wisner Eves, David, Paul and Richard Wisner. She is survived by her sons John Woodward of Mt. Holly NC and William G. Delmore, Jr. of Somers MT; daughters Rosanne Mallows of Farmington NY, Diana Delmore of Auburn NY and Gloria Lewis of Waterloo NY; brother Karl P Wisner of Lowville NY. After graduating from the University of Rochester School of Nursing, Muriel joined the US Army Nurse Corps and served in the 36th Medical Battalion from 1941-1945, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Service and inurnment will be at a later date.
