Asheville – Pauline B. Halford, 87, passed away November 25, 2016 in Gastonia NC. She was born in Henderson Co. on May 13, 1929 to the late Floyd and Mary Jane Bishop Barnwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Alden Halford. Pauline is survived her children Larry Halford (Nancy), Brenda Halford (Jeanne) and Joey Halford (Sherri); grandchildren Scott (Amy), Jeff and Ben Halford and Justin (Morgan) and Marissa James; four great grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed her family, gardening, cooking and being at the beach. The family will receive friends from 2-4pm Saturday December 3, 2016 at her residence, 5 Plemmons St. Asheville NC 28806.Obituary
