Life Story Viola Mae Roberts White Hill, age 63, of 141 Hogan Rd. Forest City passed away on Saturday November 5, 2016 at Hospice House. Viola was a native of Rutherford County and a retired cook. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Johnny Hill; daughter Christy Dawn White and fiancé Marvin Campbell; granddaughters Angel Sky Day and Madison Storm Campbell; step children Phillip Hill and his wife Jamie, Jennifer Cole and her husband Brian and granddaughters Lylah Grace Cole and Olivia Piper Cole; brother Donald Roberts; sisters Catherine Ivey and Hattie Radford; family friend Ray White. Viola was preceded in death by her parents Hugh Burnett Roberts and Hallie Ann Flynn Roberts as well as her brothers Charles, Floyd and Ronnie Roberts and her sister Grace Higgins. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Wednesday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Cecelia Beck officiating. Burial will follow in the Spindale City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Crowe’s Funeral Home. The family will be gathering at the home of Catherine Ivey 232 Oakland Hts.
