Mrs. Pauline Adams Brown, 94, of 134 Deck Circle Drive Mocksvile, passed away at Iredell Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 7, 2016. She was born in Iredell County on June 25, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Adams and the late Rosa Lackey Adams. She was married to Emanel Brown, who preceded her in death. In addition to her father, mother and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Alfred Imes and Franklin Bennett; three sisters, Clara Sharpe, Sissy Melkey, Connie Rucker and Lucille McCall; one brother, M.H. Adams; a granddaughter LaTosha Imes.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Hosley CME Church in Statesville and she loved sewing.

Left to cherish the sweet memory of her life, one daughter Alfreda (George) Redmond; one grandchild Ramek Howell; four great grandchildren Niarha McClelland, Antria McClelland, Akeon McClelland and Keshon McClelland; two special friends Terri Wiggins and Vivian Imes; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors and dear friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, November 11th, 2016, Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary. Pastor Larry Mulkey, will officiate, Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery. Mrs. Brown will remain at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home were Members of the family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., but will assemble at the residence at other times.
