Paul D. Deeter, 86 Paul D. Deeter, 86 of Ashland went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Crystal Care. He was born August 9, 1930, in Fairhope, Pennsylvania to Wesley and Meredith (nee Robb) Deeter. Paul and his wife Doris (nee Whipkey) Deeter, celebrated 60 years of marriage. They were wed on Aug. 9, 1951. Paul proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Paul was a faithful member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Assembly. He is survived by his sons, Paul Deeter Jr. of Palm Springs, Calif., and Mark (Mary Jones) Deeter of Ashland; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 13 step great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Carl (Phyllis) Deeter and Jack Deeter. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife Doris on December 4, 2011; two children, Doris Paulette Deeter, who died at birth, and David Deeter, who died in June 1985; his parents; two brothers, Gerald and Kirby Deeter; and one sister, Patricia Sarver. Funeral services will be held, Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Paul Tracy Sr. and Pastor James Mitchell officiating. The Ashland Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct full military honors. Interment will be in Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
