Reva M. Stuart, 88, of Ashland, passed away Friday afternoon November 11, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Ashland. She was born in Ashland County on September 24, 1928 to the late Lloyd L. and Ernestina (nee Juergens) Gregg. She was a lifetime resident of Ashland County and was a graduate of the Savannah Academy. Reva had many jobs in her life but her most fulfilling was as a school bus driver for the Crestview School District which she did for almost 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Savannah Presbyterian Church and had served as secretary of the church, but more recently she had been attending the Savannah United Methodist Church and was a member of the Savannah Lions Club. For many years she enjoyed camping and was an active member of the Coachman Camping Club which she served as their secretary, she was also an avid bowler belonging to leagues at both King Lanes and Luray Lanes in Ashland, and enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre. She also spent countless hours quilting and made numerous quilts and quilt tops which she gave away as wedding gifts, birthday presents and to her family and friends. Reva was first married to Herbert (Bud) Coram. Then on May 23, 1973 she was married to William (Bill) Stuart who preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by her children, Sandra Baker of Ashland; Mary Jane (Terry) Bohn of Mesa, AZ; Rex Coram of Greenwich, OH; her step children, Ron (Janet) Stuart and Don Stuart of Ashland, Jim (Elaine) Stuart of Nova; Claudia Conley of Ashland and Karen (Jack) Kelley of Ashland; several grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Fulk and a sister-in-law June Lemmel. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William (Bill) Stuart, a daughter, Tina Smith in 1987, two sons, George Coram in 1991 and Charlie Stuart in 1996, a grandson Mike Stuart in 2010 and two sons-in-law, Terry Baker and George Smith, four step brothers, George, Raymond, Earl and Walter Lemmel; three half-brothers, Lester, Ray and Guy Gregg and one step sister, Lula Jane Gregg. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Savannah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnnie F. Swann officiating. Burial will be in the Savannah Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday November 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home and on Wednesday Nov. 16, 2016 one hour prior to the service at the Savannah United Methodist Church. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Savannah United Methodist Church, 10 West Main St. Savannah, Ohio 44874 or to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
