Dr. Carolyn M. Murray-Davis went home to Glory on November 11, 2016. Dr. Murray-Davis was retired from Children’s hospital where she worked as a registered nurse. She held Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Park University and received her Doctor of Health Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in 2015. Dr. Murray-Davis was a licensed Missionary and a devoted, long time and faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ where she served on the Executive Board, Mothers’ Board, Nurses Guild and was one of the church coordinators. She also worked with the Sunday School, as Pastor’s Aide, and wherever else she was needed to do God’s work. Dr. Murray-Davis was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Eboni Love-Marie Murray-Davis, her mother Mrs. Wahnetta Black, and brother Raymond S. Murray. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly forty years, Paul Davis; her father, Dr. Thomas A. Murray, Sr. of Ramah, NM; her step-father, John E. Black, Jr. of Columbus; her sons Antonio S. Murray of Duluth, GA; Ronald G. Murray; Elder Paul S. (Antjuanette) Davis; and her children-in-Christ, Canan Cullins and Andrea Jackson all of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by her sisters Aurelia V. Murray of Powder Springs, GA; and Johnetta (Anthony) Black of Mableton, GA; brother Thomas A. Murray, Jr. of Columbus; sisters-in-Christ, Chaplain Kimberly Young of Marietta, GA, Mary Baker, Erma Hunt and Mother-in-Christ Velma Rogers all of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
