Ruth N. Monroe-Rawls born in Columbus, OH on October 17, 1958 to Effort and Doris Monroe. Ruth at the age of 58 passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, OH. Ruth was a graduate of Marion Franklin High School Columbus, OH and earned a BS from Franklin University School of Business. She served her country and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She is survived by loving son, Rylan (Arawyna) Rawls; parents, Effort and Doris Monroe; brothers, Van (Beverly) of Albuquerque, NM and Michael Monroe; nieces, Jevett (Jimmy) and Marlene; nephews, Rashad and Elijah; special cousin, Toyia Monroe Bullock; godson, David Peppers, Jr. and special friend, Theresa Peppers. Funeral service Saturday 11am Bethel Temple Church, 2840 Lockbourne Rd, Bishop Dane Clark, officiating, where the family will receive friends 10am until the time of service.
