Paul Morrow Obituary

Paul Ralph Morrow, age 88, of Mayer, AZ and Clayton, OH, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born March 31, 1928 in Dayton to William R and Grace (Michael) Morrow. Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Helen (Scheblo Tippie) Morrow; daughter Randa (Tim) Borders of AZ, grandson Jacob Borders and great-grandson Dustin Borders, both of AZ; stepson David Tippie of NV and Lori (Garry) Johnson of CO; brothers-in-law, Wallace Hamiel of Troy and Gene Lowrey of Dayton; and many special nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and close friends. Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Jana Lee (Decker) Morrow; son Timothy Morrow; brothers William “Joe” (Louise) Morrow and Roy (Helen) Morrow and sisters Mary (Gene) Lowrey and Esther (Wallace) Hamiel. Paul attended Northridge High School and worked as a motor electrician until he retired. He spent most of his adult life in Arizona and then was a snow-bird between Ohio and Arizona for the last 30 years. Paul was an avid camper, traveler and lover of the outdoors, frequently seen touring the country in his RV. He instilled a deep affection for his beloved American Southwest in many members of his family. He could frequently be found gathered around the campfire, standing with his boot on the fire ring, telling stories of his travels with his enduring sense of humor and adventurous personality. In lieu of burial, Paul will be cremated and his ashes spread in the Bradshaw Mountains in Prescott Valley, AZ. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton.
