Kerri (O'Hern) Bandell Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Kerri Kaom (O’Hern) Bandell will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Oakwood Christian Church, in Enid, Oklahoma. A separate visitation will be held for her Wisconsin friends and family from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at First Free Church, 123 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Kerri was born January 29, 1969 in Enid, OK to Thomas Allen O’Hern and Kandice Joleen (Robinette) O’Hern and went to be with her Lord Thursday, December 29, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. She attended elementary school at Covington Douglas Marshall, graduating from Pioneer High School in 1987. After attending Oklahoma State University, she graduated from Oklahoma Northeastern College. Kerri married the love of her life, David Bandell, August 4, 1990 in Enid, Oklahoma. In 2001, they moved to Holmen, Wisconsin, where she was a State Farm Agent in Onalaska, Wisconsin. This past year they decided to reestablish a part-time residency back in Oklahoma and had just finished building their Oklahoma dream home near Chandler. Kerri was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed scrapbooking, was very involved in church and community activities and was thrilled to plan and organize family holidays and reunions. Kerri is survived by her husband Dave; son David “Eric” Bandell II and wife Emily; daughter Victoria “Tori” Ashley Leque and husband Jerry; mom Kandice O’Hern; dad Tom O’Hern and wife Sharon; brother Patrick O’Hern; sisters Kendra O’Hern, Sharie Behnke, and Lori Fisher; her mother and father in law Susan and Ronald Bandell; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by an unborn child; paternal grandparents Melvin and Lois (Best) O’Hern; and maternal grandparents Frank and Ellen “Nadean” (Franke) Robinette. A strong believer in community service, she would desire that any memorials be made to a church or charity of your choice in Kerri’s name with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be made and the services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
