Private services will be held for Ronald Lee Fisher, 94, of Enid. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Ronald was born January 16, 1922 in Alva, Oklahoma the son of Chance and Beulah Batman Fisher and passed away December 25, 2016 at his residence. Ronald attended school in Ringwood. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. He was a member of the Seabee’s serving in the Pacific. Ronald was united in marriage to Inez C Stricker August 8, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas and she preceded him in death October 14, 2016. He was employed as a cement finisher for Shelby Shive for eight years. From 1955 to 1982 he was self-employed in the cement business. He was a member of the Central Christian Church and attended the Sooner Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW and The Moose Lodge, where he received his Pilgrim Degree and served as their administrator from June 1, 1982 to March 1, 1997. Survivors include two sons, Richard Fisher and his wife Erna of Enid and Chauncy Fisher of Costa Mesa, California, four grandchildren, One great-granddaughter, Amanda and one brother, Dean of Springdale, Arkansas.
