Larry E. Lyter, 86, of Bellefonte passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Lock Haven Hospital. Born on November 19, 1929 in Milroy, PA, he was the son of the late Guy and Sara (MCool) Lyter. He married Jane Hoover, who survives at home. Larry attended the Milroy School System. He worked at Cerro Copper and Brass in Bellefonte until his retirement. He was of the Methodist faith and a life member of the Undines. He was a veteran who served in the United States Army. Larry is survived by one daughter, Jeanette Dreibelbis of Milesburg, and by one son, Lee Lyter and his wife Tina of Milesburg, and one brother, John Lyter of Belleville. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Alan Lyter, David Dreibelbis, Jeffrey Dreibelbis, Justin Dreibelbis, and Dustin Lyter and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Samuel E., one sister, Laura Burris and one brother, Harold. There will be a public visitation held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
