Miguel Sagastume

Miguel A. Sagastume, 69, of Bellefonte, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016, due to injuries from an automobile accident. Born on May 13, 1947, in Guatemala, he was the son of the late Jose Maria and Otilia (Estrada) Sagastume.  He married Elvia (Cordon) Sagastume, his wife of 44 years, who survives at home. Miguel was owner and operator of Brothers Pizza in Zion. He was a member of God’s Missionary Church in Milesburg. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Yancy and Michael Sagastume, both of Howard, by one daughter, Lindsay Sagastume of Bellefonte, one brother, Hector Sagastume of Guatemala, two sisters: Mirian and Vitalina Sagastume of Guatemala. Also surviving is one grandson, Jacob Miguel. Miguel loved teasing and joking with his customers who became family friends over the 32 years he owned Brother’s Pizza in Zion. He enjoyed life, playing guitar and singing. He loved playing with his grandson, brainteasers, nature; Kayaking, walks, the beach, shoveling snow and mowing grass in his sombrero.  Miguel was very kind-hearted and outgoing.  He loved the Lord and meeting with his church family. There will be a public visitation held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5:00 pm until viewing ends, at Gods Missionary Church, 218 Water Street, Milesburg.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 am at the church with Pastor Michael Hoskins officiating.  Burial will follow at Zion Union Cemetery, Walker Township.
