Sandra McMurtrie
Sandra L. McMurtrie, 70, of Bellefonte, passed away November 20, 2016 at home, after a long and heroic battle with surgical complications and cancer. Born on August 20, 1946, in Bellefonte she was the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Sager) Corl. Sandra married Rodney McMurtrie, on April 23,1965, who survives in Bellefonte. She was retired from the Meadows, where she worked as an admitting clerk. She loved her family and her pets, as well as all animals. Sandi gave much, laughed much, and loved much. She was a friend to all. In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by one daughter, Lori Wittlich (James) of Muncy,PA, three grandchildren; Jordan, Chelsea and Lindsey Wittlich, all of Philadelphia. Also surviving are two brothers, Thomas Corl of Beech Creek and Philip Corl of Snow Shoe. She was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Corl and one sister Shirley Bartley. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc.
