Lloyd M. Thompson, Jr., 89, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Chambersburg Hospital. Born September 16, 1926 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Lloyd M. Thompson, Sr. and Mary L.E. Varner Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a motorcycle dealer in Chambersburg selling Indian, Harley Davidson, and Kawasaki motorcycles prior to his retirement. He also raced Indians at one time. He was a life member of Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW. He is survived by his niece, Wendy Chamberlain and husband Ted of Chambersburg; great-nephew William Chamberlain and wife Jess; and great-niece Laura Chamberlain, all of Asheville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris T. Kuykendall. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 at Lincoln Cemetery.
