Ella Stamper

ELLA M. STAMPER, 83 years of Street, MD, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Married for 52 years, she was the loving wife of Jerry D. Stamper. Born on March 28, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Jones) Burkins. Ella was a former cafeteria aide at Slate Ridge Elementary School and also North Harford Elementary. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader. She was formerly an auxiliary member of the North Harford Fish & Game with her husband. Ella enjoyed her community and would often be seen with Jerry having breakfast at the Darlington Fire Hall. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: Two children- Roxanna Mancusi and her husband Joseph of Raleigh NC Dean Stamper or Street, MD Three half-brothers- Joseph, Charles and Paul Burkins of Burleson, TX A half-sister- Anne Stulce of Mansfield, TX A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta, PA 17314 where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Rodney Stamper of Bethany Baptist Church will officiate and interment will be in Darlington Cemetery immediately following.
