Reba Mae Cooper

REBA MAE “CURLEY” COOPER, 93 years of Delta, PA, died on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born on April 4, 1923 in the Slate Hill area of Peach Bottom Township, York County, PA, she was the last surviving of the six children born to the late Howard E. and Besse (Maglaughlin) Singleton. Reba had worked as a caregiver, enjoyed dancing, traveling, shopping at yard sales; although, in most recent years, she cherished the times spent with her children, grandchildren and especially her great grandchild. In addition, she enjoyed the company of her dear friend, Mr. Stan Heiner. She is survived by: Four children- Robert W. Cooper, Jr. (Kim) of Brogue, PA Roger A. Cooper (Rita) of Delta, PA Regina R. Dinsmore (Harvey) of Havre de Grace, MD Radford R. Cooper (Donna) of Delta, PA Three grandchildren- Randi C. Miller of Street, MD Robin S. Cooper of Washington, DC Karen C. Brooks of Stewartstown, PA Her great grandchild-Royce Cooper Brooks of Stewartstown, PA She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kali Alyssa Cooper who died on February 7, 2007. During part of her life, she had been married to Robert William Cooper, Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA followed by the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Reverend James B. Shuler of Pine Grove Presbyterian Church, Airville, PA will officiate with interment in Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Delta, PA. In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to Mt.
