Hershey – It is with great sorrow we announce the death of Carol, October 17, 2016. Survived by her son, Tim of Hershey; daughter, Leslie and husband Stacey Kato and grandchildren Aidan and Abbey Kato of Santa Ana, CA; and sister, Judy and husband Robert Schreiber of Newport. Carol was retired from the M.S. Hershey Medical Center and former Olmsted Air Force Base where she performed clerical duties. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Y. Abbot; parents, James and Mabel Bowerman; sisters, Jean Martin and Jane Bowerman; and brothers, James and Robert Bowerman. A Celebration of Life will be December 20, 2016, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Granada and Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, consider memorial contributions be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 212 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033.
