Robin S. Morris, 62, of Harrisburg, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Born in Lebanon on November 20, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ernest A. Brown, Sr., Ruth A. Rohr Hooper, and Lillian Carr Wevodau. Robin was in accounts receivable at AETNA. She was a 1972 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, Hummelstown. Robin was a member of the “Get A Life Club”, which she enjoyed immensely, and enjoyed watching Grey’s Anatomy, playing Bingo, and going to the casino. Most important to her was her family. Robin is survived by her daughter, Amber Cruz significant other of William Thompson III; her siblings, Ernest Brown, Jr. husband of Connie Patrick, Kevin Brown, Terri Kienzle widow of Steve, Dwaine Brown husband of Susan, Cynthia Johnston widow of Kevin, and Violet Ferguson wife of Robert; her grandchildren, Justina, Justin, and Julisa Cruz, and Christopher and William Thompson IV; many nieces and nephews; and her cats, Wiggles and Callie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald “Duke” Painter. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 3 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 PM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036 to help offset the costs of the funeral expenses.
