Thelma E. Schlein Fosnot, 87, of Hershey, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, in the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes Barre. Born in Williamstown on October 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Shomper Schlein. Thelma was a homemaker; she devoted her life to caring for her home and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald J. Fosnot on February 14, 1999; a daughter, Mary E. Dunlap on January 6 2015; and a sister, Doris Fosnot. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Sandra K. Shepherd of Palmyra; two sons, Brian J. Fosnot husband of Sue of Union Deposit and Charles A. Fosnot husband of Traci of Dunmore; a brother, Edward Schlein of Fenwick Island, MD; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; five nieces and a nephew. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1 PM in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 6701 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Gail P. Boyer, pastor of Union Deposit United Methodist, officiating. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
