Anna M. Lester KANE Anna M. Lester, 92, a resident of the Watson Memorial Home, 1200 Conewango Ave., Warren, and formerly of Kane and Sheffield, passed away Friday (October 7, 2016) at Warren General Hospital. Born May 4, 1924, in New York City, she was a daughter of Alois and Mary Zacek Prokop. On October 15, 1947, she married Howard W. Lester who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lester, a homemaker, was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church. Surviving are a son, Howard P. (Marlene) Lester of Sheffield; two granddaughters, Rose (Yuri) Ciprich and Michelle Lester; a great-granddaughter, Sienna Ciprich; a brother Alois Prokop, Jr. of Connecticut; and a nephew and several cousins. Preceding her in death, besides her husband and parents, was a sister, Mary Bires and a nephew. Friends will be received Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the gathering space of St. Callistus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am with the Rev. Philip Pinckewski, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Callistus Cemetery. Donations may be made in Anna Lester's memory to the Watson Memorial Home, 1200 Conewango Ave., Warren, PA 16365.
