Stephen Kinley Obituary

Stephen E. Kinley, 73, of Mill Hall passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Lock Haven Hospital Emergency Room. Born on December 9, 1942 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Stephen H. and Edith Gertrude Barner Kinley. He was a 1962 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. On July 4, 1960 in Mill Hall, Stephen married the love of his life, the former Gloria Dapp who survives. He served in the National Guard. Stephen was employed by the Hammermill Paper Company, retiring upon its closing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, collecting coins, and most of all, spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by Craig (Jennifer) Kinley of Mill Hall; two daughters, Gwen (Jim) Woodring of Port Matilda and Stacey (Richard) Titus of Mill Hall; three sisters: Betty (Larry) Sonnie of Lock Haven, Carol (Art) Dapp of Mill Hall, and Beck (Jim) Tomaini of Mill Hall; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Kinley; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen W. “Skeeter” Kinley. When God created Stephen he made a man with a heart of gold who would help anyone and never turned anyone away. Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Stephen’s name to the American Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
