Virginia M. Pecano

<p>Virginia M. Pecano, of New Castle, passed away the morning of October 28, 2016 at her residence. Born in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Jo Micco Flout. In 1943, she married her beloved husband, Roger S. Pecano, and the two of them spent 43 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on March 27, 1986. </p><p><br></p><p>Virginia had worked as a salesperson for Lloyd’s Jewelry Store. She was a member of St. Camillus Church. Virginia enjoyed decorating her home, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>Virginia is survived by her daughter, Andrea Bucci and husband Henry of Atlanta, GA; sister, Mary Jo Houston of Willis, TX; grandchildren, John G. Pecano, Roger Bucci, and Gregory Bucci and wife Anne; and great-grandchildren, Roger G. Bucci and Denise Lynne Bucci. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John R. Pecano; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth “Betsy” Pecano; brothers, Eugene, Anthony, and Norman Flout; and sisters, Helen Quint, Margaret Deli, Rose Garberry, and Vera Conti. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Camillus Church, officiated by Father Michael Peck. </p><p><br></p><p>Interment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.</p>
