Phillip Bretz Obituary

Phillip J. Bretz, 61, of Red Hill, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Debora (Amenheuser) Bretz. They were married for 42 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry Bretz and Beatrice (Krause) Bretz. Phillip joined the United States Army at 19, stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany until 1977. He returned to the states where he worked as an automotive technician for North Penn Imports. He was an avid hunter, loved to fish, enjoyed the beach and being silly with his two grandsons. Survivors: His wife, Debora; daughter Kimberly Riggins and her husband Antonio; daughter Jennifer Flipping; brothers Stephen, Daniel and Michael Bretz; and grandsons Grayson Riggins and Cameron Flipping. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Bretz. Service: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 27 at Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg, PA, where the family will receive relatives and friends starting at 9:30 AM with the service to start at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held after the service at The Carriage House on Route 29 in East Greenville.
