Tracie Lynne Merrigan, 51, of Boonsboro, Md., departed this life on Thursday, December 1, 2016, in Hagerstown, Md. She was born in Richmond, Va., a daughter of the late Jack Edward Rhine and Shirley Delrio Goodhart Rhine. Tracie was employed in the administrative field throughout her life. She was known to be very crafty and artistic. Tracie liked making jewelry, was good at sketching and drawing, and loved to read. She enjoyed being outdoors when she was able and also liked to spend some time fishing. In addition to her mother, her longtime companion, Charles Barone of Boonsboro; Tracie is survived by two sons, Daniel Merrigan of Union Bridge Md, and Dale Merrigan of Boonsboro; two sisters, Pam S. Eckenrode of Carlisle, Pa., and Stephanie A. Rhine of Hagerstown; her brother, Jeffrey E. Rhine of Easton, Md.; a nephew, Chad Eckenrode of Newville, Pa., and niece, Katie Pritt of Carlisle. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or funeral service at this time, however, a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
