Donald L Park, 79, formerly of Snow Shoe, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Centre Crest in Bellefonte. Born in Snow Shoe, on October 28, 1936, he was the son of the late William L. and Sarah A. Bloom. Don attended the Snow Shoe High School. He was of the protestant faith. He was employed as a laborer for G.M. McCrossin before his retirement. Don enjoyed going for rides in his pickup truck and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed going to camp and spending time there. Don is survived by three sisters; Naomi C. Hill and her husband, David, of Euclid, OH, Mildred Park of Bellefonte, and Jean Guenot of Angola, NY. Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by his companion, Elaine A. Newman, who passed away on July 28, 2015, his daughter, Ashley Marie Park, who passed away on October 23, 2014, and by three brothers. In accordance with Don’s wishes, there will be no services and his cremains will be taken to his favorite spots in the woods. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W.
