Leona M. Kunz (Lee), a longtime resident of Hatfield, passed away on March 21, 2017. She was 90 years old. Lee was a loving sister, mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by her surviving 2 sons, Alan and his partner Jen, and David and his wife Julie; her 4 grandchildren, Rhett, Josh, Zach, and Jen; her great grandchild, Adi; and her sister Elaine Steinle. Born in Philadelphia PA, Lee was a daughter of the late Josephine and Roy Maurer. Lee had a great love of family, children, and animals - and was greatly loved by them. She enjoyed gardening and studying Astrology, Astronomy, and Physics. Lee was an artist and a business woman. She spent her career as a private advertising executive and freelance advertising artist. A memorial service celebrating Lee’s life will be 5:00 pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington where the family will receive friends after 4:00 pm until the time of service.
