Gaffney -- Alda Mae Philbeck Grigg, 97, of 510 Thompson Street, passed away Wednesday, October 12th, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born in Shelby, she was the widow of Bennie Grigg and the daughter of the late Broadus Philbeck and Minnie Moss Philbeck. Mrs. Grigg was a Homemaker and was a long time member of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 14th, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Barry Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Blacksburg.
