Shirley Manning

Blacksburg -- Shirley Ann Richardson Manning, 63, of 116 Painter Lane, passed away Sunday, October 23rd, 2016, at her residence. Born in Gaston County, NC, she was the wife of Timothy Scott Manning and the daughter of the late Silas Richardson and Vivian Lewis Richardson. Mrs. Manning retired from textiles and was a member of Christian Missionary Fellowship Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Manning is survived by four sons, Matthew Thomas Bloomer of Hickory, NC, Timothy Shane Bloomer of Lincolnton, NC, John Bloomer of Mt. Holly, NC, and Clay Bloomer of Waco, TX; two daughters, Stacie Hicks of Maiden, NC and Shannon Brooks of Gastonia, NC; two sisters, Vida Holland of Besemer City, NC and Donna Richardson of Gastonia, NC, and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Richardson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church, 207 First Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
