Eva Mae Leftwich Mezza, 96 of Cunningham passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Signature Health Care of Erin. A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Hopewell Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Raines and Bro. Brian Henley officiating, burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral home and on Thursday at 12 noon until the hour of the service at the church. Eva was born December 10, 1920 in Montgomery Co., the daughter of the late Thurman Karnes and Elsie Potts Karnes. Eva Mae was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents Eva is preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas S. Leftwich and second husband Larry Mezza; daughter Reba Leftwich; grand-daughter, Lisa Groves. Survivors include her sons; Louie Leftwich, wife June, William (Bill) Leftwich , wife Sue, daughter; Linda Joyce Knight, eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Pallbears will be Clifton Leftwich, James Board, Ricky Agy, Clyde Karnes, Cody Parker, David Macaluso, Thomas Leftwich and Donald Hayes.
