Garland Wendell Farmer, age 73 of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Chris Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday. Wendell was born on June 13, 1943 in Montgomery County, the son of the late Gilbert Allen Farmer and Virginia Knight Farmer. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Herndon Farmer; brother, Gilbert Allen Farmer; sisters, Barbara Maxine Cole and Margaret Ann McDowell; sisters-in-law, Genola Sue Combow and Opal Carol Chambers.
