Charles "Chuck" Edward Sams, 83, of Baxter, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Chuck was born in Stinking Creek, Kentucky on Friday, October 13, 1933 to the late Myrtle (McAllister) and Caney Sams.
Chuck served in the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. Chuck loved two things in life: Family first and laughter second.
Chuck married the late Anna Ruth Hamilton on December 25, 1952 in Barbourville, Kentucky and they were married 60 plus years.

Lateef K. Hudson of San Jose, California
Great-Granddaughter: Lilja Sams of Finland
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by: Wife, Anna Ruth Sams and Brother, Reecel Sams
Funeral Services for Chuck Sams will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Figura.
Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
