Dorothy Sue (Malone) Parris, age 74, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 5, 2017. Dorothy was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on February 7, 1943 to the late Jewel (McDaniel) and Elmer Malone. She is survived by her husband Jerry R. Parris,of Cookeville, TN Son: Roger and Lauri Parris of Cookeville,TN Daughter: Marcie and Steve Brecker of Brentwood, TN Six Grandkids: Miranda Allen, Corey Parris, Caleb Parris, Lauren Brecker, Julia Brecker, and Sydney Brecker. Two Sister- in-Laws: Dora Mae Malone and Anna Rose Vaughn. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by: Two brothers Butler and Melvin Malone and one sister Kathleen Dishman Funeral services for Dorothy Parris will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
