Robert "Bob" James Saylor, Jr., 61, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Bob was born October 1, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio at Cincinnati Jewish Hospital to Anna Mae Barker and the late Robert James Saylor, Sr. Bob served the United States Army in the 101st Airborne for more than 16 years. He served honorably in the conflict of Grenada. Bob was an avid reader and he would read almost anything except for a love story. He was a good worker and always provided for his family. Bob is survived by: Wife: Brenda (Mullins) Saylor of Cookeville, Tennessee 4 Sons: Robert James Saylor III and Wendy of Florence, Kentucky Jason C. Saylor of Lexington, Kentucky Raymond J. and Krista Saylor of Florence, Kentucky Jarrod L. Saylor of Cookeville, Tennessee Daughter: Athena M. Saylor of Florence, Kentucky 5 Grandchildren Brother: David and Lynn Littrell of Cookeville, Tennessee 2 Sisters: Kathy and Tony Reeves of Tullahoma, Tennessee Jeannie Cornelius of Florence, Kentucky Sister-in-law: Vanessa Littrell of Colorado Springs, Colorado 15 Nieces and Nephews In addition to his father, Bob was preceded in death by: Brother, Thomas Eugene Littrell, Jr., and Step-Father, Thomas Eugene Littrell, Sr. Funeral Services for Robert "Bob" James Saylor, Jr. will be held from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 10, 2017 with Brother Gault Officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday, March 10, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
