Edwin Carl Johnson, age 86 of Franklin, TN passed away Sunday Nov. 27, 2016 at his residence. Edwin worked with Schwebel Baking Company in McKeesport, PA and was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean conflict. Born in McKeesport, PA to the late Rupert and Clarissa Lewis Johnson. Seven years ago Edwin and his wife moved to Franklin to be closer to family. Edwin enjoyed reading, sketching, painting and taking long rides in the country. He loved being with his family sharing stories from his youth. He is preceded in death by his son Dale Johnson. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen Gibbs Johnson of Franklin, TN; daughter, Diane(Frank) Caruso; sons, Dwayne Johnson of Tulsa, OK, Grant (Sheryl) Johnson of Boonville, IN & Ronald (Christine) Johnson of Munford, TN; grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Matt(Joelle)Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Ginny(Chris) Bilbrey, Trevor (Jobeth ) Johnson, Kristine Johnson, Nick ( Marina ) Caruso , Michelle ( Michael ) Caruso Peterson, Jillian Johnson, and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Gayle Johnson; brother, Glenn (Eileen ) Johnson.
